If you need to contact a Councillor it is best to do this through the Greenwich Council website.

If you specifically wish to contact a Conservative Councillor then the Leader of the Opposition on the Council Cllr Matt Hartley is an excellent starting point and the Deputy Leader of the Council Cllr Charlie Davis knows our local issues so well.

We are aware that many Labour Councillors are not good at responding to residents’ concerns (possibly as they face sanctions from their party if they do so). In August 2025 even the Labour leaning SEnine magazine noted the lack of engagement of the Labour Eltham Park & Progress Councillors when it mentioned in the ‘Spy’ column: “Despite lengthly attempts to interact with their ward representatives, they were left to attend the planning committee hearing alone…”

Now this isn’t entirely accurate as, despite not representing the ward, Conservative Deputy Leader Cllr Charlie Davis attended the meeting and spoke on the residents’ behalf, but it is clear that the Labour Councillors across the borough are not responsive to resident concerns.
